Glorified Columbine Videos Pulled Off YouTube

Recently YouTube has removed several videos glorifying the killings at Columbine High School. An investigation came to show that there have been videos found on the site displaying praise the Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the shooters of the tragedy.

The murders took place in Columbine, a small town near Denver Colorado, about 9 years ago. In the videos that have been removed the killers were shown as heroes, romanticizing the terrible acts.

XO Laptop Hits Europe

Europe has established a One laptop Per Child Organization also known as the OLPC. The organization has plans to sell XO laptops for $100. The laptops will be offered online through Amazon’s European outlets beginning November 17th.

The OLPC plan to make laptops affordable for everyone to buy comes with a catch. Those who choose to purchase a laptop will be sold one for themselves and one to be donated to a child in a developing nation.

Dangers of Buying Medicine Online

Many men buy their medicines online in order to keep their ailments anonymous. Due to the need for anonymity many men tend to buy fake medicines and are putting their lives at risk. They are purchasing medicine without NHS, National Health Service approval.

Pfizer, one of the largest pharmaceutical companies, did a survey with over 900 men over 35. The survey found that one in every 10 was buying medicine that lacked a script. The act of buying medication online is not illegal but can be very dangerous.

Google Earth Visits Ancient Rome

Since Google’s launch of the Google Earth application users are able to view a 3D map of their homes as well as places around the world. Recently the application has offered millions of users the ability to visit ancient Rome.

The city of Rome has been recreated and users can see the forum of Julius Ceaser and stand in the coliseum. The visual images of the ancient city are like a time machine allowing users to take a look back into time.

Warcraft Expansion Pack Creates a Frenzy

The much anticipated second expansion pack for World of Warcraft has been released. World of Warcraft is a fantasy role playing online game that allows players to interact and play with others in a fantasy universe.

Over 2,000 people waited in line in central London for the midnight opening of the Oxford Street store at chance to get their hands on the game. The game is being launched worldwide in such places as North America and Taiwan.
