The Golden Compass owes a lot to 2005’s The Chronicles of Narnia. Like Narnia, it is a game based on a film based on a fantasy novel, and it even goes so far as to summarily lift hunks of gameplay directly from the older title.

Eve Cars, a UK mag, interviewed “hundreds of men” and came up with a list of ten cars that women could buy if they wanted to impress a guy. First on the list was the 1955-63 Mercedes 300 SL Roadster.
